PROCESS CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Specific Accountabilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n
(Results this role is expected to accomplish)<\/span><\/div>\n
Reporting to the Lead Production Operator, accountabilities include:<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Safe and efficient operations in accordance with established procedures and regulations.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Report all accidents, near misses and hazardous conditions.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Control for all facility processing and utility systems.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Ensure all work control processes are adhered to on a daily basis. (i.e. Permit to Work)<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Ensure that all production and injection targets are met on a daily basis.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Ensure that product quality specifications are met. (i.e. water injection , gas lift)<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Monitor and control of subsea wells, flow lines, and risers according to established procedures\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Track and monitor all personnel movement in restricted areas.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Provide direction to Process Operators during normal, upset, and emergency conditions.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Provide accurate production volume, quality, and metering data for production accounting.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Document and report any environmental exceedances to Production Supervisor.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Maintain daily operating logbook for shift records.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Key member of Emergency Response Team.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Adhere to FPSO\/Department standing instruction all the time.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Responsible for daily production report, production lost report and maintain daily activities<\/span><\/div>\n
records<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Ensure Department Activities Tracking (weekly, monthly etc\u2026); make sure the activities are done<\/span><\/div>\n
as scheduled. Using Tracking Tools available.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Actively participate in Housekeeping\/ Cleaning \/ Chipping & Painting campaign set up by Lead<\/span><\/div>\n
PO or Production Sup.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Raise at least 4 ACT cards every 3 weeks rotation for Safety awareness improvement.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Permit to work task:<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n
\u2022 Manage the PTW system\/process to ensure that PTW required works properly controlled,<\/span><\/div>\n
coordinated and communicated.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Ensure the issuing (suspending and closing) of PTW and associated documentations comply<\/span><\/div>\n
with the PTW procedure.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Maintaining the Q4 database of PTW competent persons<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Registering users onto the system as directed by the OIM\/FM and allocating passwords<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 To edit user details in the system as required by the OIM by assigning or removing roles and<\/span><\/div>\n
privileges of the users<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 To audit the installations user database and remove any users who have not accessed the<\/span><\/div>\n
system within the previous 12 months<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Assign multi and cross installation roles and privileges<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Allocate installation specific roles and privileges<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Edit the Hazard and Control Tree upon request<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Allocate guest roles (read only)<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Allocate visitor roles<\/span><\/div>\n

\n
Minimum Competencies:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n
(Skills required to accomplish this role effectively)\u2022 High School diploma and Technologist or Industry Certification.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 5 years related experience in the oil\/petrochemical industry.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Previous experience as a control room operator. (2 Years)<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and computerized control\/safety systems.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Working knowledge of separation, compression, utility systems.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Thorough understanding of all production equipment and systems on the installation.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Effective communication skills (written, oral and computer).<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Proficient in English both written and oral.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Leadership and teamwork skills\/behaviours which support team based organization.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
